It is sad to see that Apple only recommends the overpriced Radeon. I think there is a huge market out there. There are a lot of Mac users who are stuck with these iris cards. I have a GTX 1070 eGPU which is connected to my Ubuntu 20.04 computer via Thunderbolt3. Now that Mac OS 10.13.4 has official eGPU support, what keeps Nvidia from launching drivers for these setups.
